Artur Menezes is a Psychedelic Blues Rock artist known for his guitar virtuosity, soulful vocals, explosive stage presence, and heavy use of fuzz pedals. Born in Brazil and based in Los Angeles for the past decade, Menezes is a U.S. citizen who has built an international career touring extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, and South America.
Fresh off his performance at Lollapalooza Brazil 2026 as the festival’s only blues-rock artist, Menezes is currently preparing to release a new studio album in October 2026. A recipient of the Blues Foundation’s Best Guitarist award in 2018, he has toured with Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Gales, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and the Experience Hendrix Tour, earning areputation as one of the most exciting voices in modern blues-rock.
Menezes has also performed twice at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival (2019 and 2023), further cementing his place among today’s leading guitarists.
When off the road, he teaches guitar at The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
